Nope. We track scores and points. Points aren't dollars — Longest Drive is worth 10 points, and what those points mean to your crew is between you and your buds. We also help square casual IOUs by handing off to your own Venmo or Cash App. We never hold money and never take a cut. We're the scorecard, not the house.

After the round, Budholes tallies every IOU and shows who owes who. One tap opens a prefilled link in your own payment app — you confirm the amount and send it friend-to-friend. The money never touches Budholes.

No. One person can keep the whole card. Add anyone as a guest by name and score for them all round — they don't need an account, a phone, or to have ever heard of us. When they do join, they get their own live scorecard and their scores follow them.

A ghost is a past round you can race. Tee it up against your own best at that course to see if you're actually improving, or against a bud's round — hole by hole, live, so you always know if you're up or down. Beat theirs and they'll hear about it.

Then don't. Every side game can run on points alone — pure bragging rights, no dollars anywhere near it. Settle-up only shows up if your crew put a stake on something. Plenty of squads never touch it.
